At 2:45pm, Chilton 911 received a call reporting that a subject had forcibly entered a resident's property. The subject was run off by the owner's dogs, but is still at large.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. He was last seen in the 16000 block of County Road 16 in Maplesville.

If you live in the area, we urge you to stay indoors immediately. The Chilton County Sheriff's Office, with assistance from Clanton PD, Maplesville PD, and Alabama State Troopers, are actively searching for the suspect.
