Message From Sheriff John Shearon

Hello, I am Sheriff John Shearon and I would like to welcome you to our newly renovated website. Our new site has information about the Chilton County Sheriff's Office and much more. I also would like to take this opportunity to let you know what we stand for and how we carry out our responsibility to protect you and your families. We can't properly do our jobs without the support of our community. No one understands that more than I do. Therefore, I encourage you to spend some time getting to know this site and our department. Please, always feel free to ask questions or share information so that we may better serve you. We are committed to:

• Aggressively combatting criminal activity to ensure that Chilton County is a safe place to work, live and raise your families
• Providing quality law enforcement services to citizens by developing partnerships with the community in a manner that inspires confidence and trust
• Developing programs to solve community issues through partnerships and collaborations between the Chilton County Sheriff's Office and the general public
• Implementing strategies to create an innovative law enforcement agency including proactive policing, problem-solving, and advanced technology
• Implementing programs that get our youth involved to teach them to make wise choices about drugs, alcohol, and criminal activity
