Today members of Chilton County Sheriff's Office and Clanton Police Department had the honor of spending time with the children of Raleigh's Place, located in Clanton. Patrol Captain Ken Harmon, with CCSO and Investigator Lieutenant  Erick Smitherman, with CPD. The officers were able to talk to the children about the dangers of drugs and show them K9 officer Elko’s skills as a drug sensing dog. The children also had the opportunity to check out the CCSO SWAT Truck, along with the equipment SWAT member’s use.
